Fell in Love

Hello Everyone,
I have had my Dragon for about 3 1/2 weeks now, and handled him a good amount. I was always thinking hes going to get hurt, or worried about the cat. My beardie is about 2 1/2 months now and around 10 inches. Well tonight I just let him go, on the couch, he explored and finally resting on my hand, fell asleep. My heart melted. My wife also held him and he slept. Were hooked for sure now. I can NOW understand! Thanks again to everyones advice and knowledge. RKeene. I named him Irwin,Im pretty sure its a male. I didn't realise quite how much I was going to fall in love with my guy, hes my first beardie and it was a shock. I've only had him 3 months but it feels like forever, cant imagine not having him now.
P.S. Great name.

Thats so funny! Thats exactly why I named mine Irwin! It is really cute when they fall asleep on you. When my hair is down mine will go to the back of my neck and sleep. :love10: I am definitely getting another one when mine gets older!

My son request a bearded dragon for christmas, now myself personally have always been a cat person never thought of having a reptile. anyway we did our research and bought MR D well all I can say its that all the family have fallen in love with this gentle dragon he is absolutely beautiful he loves being picked up and is very curious to what we are doing he is 6 months old and very spoilt
