First let me say..............
Welcome to BD.org!
Feeding schedule in my house..............
I hour after lights go on I put salads out for
all beardies hatchlings to adults.
After basking for an hour I offer staple bugs to
all age beardies...........in my house roaches, as many as they will eat in a 10 to 15 minute period.
*Note
Babies may not eat many if any veggies but I still offer them.
Also the adult may not always want bugs but I still offer them.
For babies and juveniles I offer bugs again in about 2 to 3 hours, again as many as they can eat in a 10 to 15 minute period. This feeding can be of a different type feeder(I call these treats). In my house this would be ..............
Phoenix worms, silk worms (when supplies are healthy), butterworms, horned worms.............
And then again about 2 to 3 hours later another staple feeding of however many they can eat in a 10 to 15 minute period.
Adults don't eat as may bug feedings per day as babies, but I do offer them a treat feeding later in the day.
(same as treat feeders listed above adding superworms for adult beardies and large juvies over 15 inches)
Sometimes I need to give the adults and juvies an additional salad in the afternoon.
Always give your beardies time to digest their last feeding before lights go out. (atleast 1 to 1-1/2 hours)
I may also offer 1 to 2 waxworms per week no more than that as they are very high in fat.
(It's like giving them a candy bar) So I only offer this treats once a week.
*Note
The first feeding per day is when I dust my live feeders. 5 days a week with calcium for babies and juvies and 3 days per week for adults. 2 days a week with multivitamins for all.
**Note
Can't really give you a number as to how many they eat as they are all different from one another. And what they may eat one day will not always be what they will eat the next day. Babies can eat as many as 100 bugs per day.
***Note
For the oldest of the beardies that may not eat many live feeders per week I dust their salads with supliments instead of the bugs.
Baby and juvie diets consist of 80% protien where adults 80% vegetation.
Here's a couple of links that give some nutritional values for beardie foods, the second link is for some live feeders;
