Feeding questions for new baby

We lost our first beardie to gout so I'm now super paranoid about our new baby. We've had her for 3 weeks and shes settled in well. She just turned 5 months this week was 260g when we got her and is 294g as of last night. We are offering collard, mustard, and dandelion greens as well as rotating squash and bell peppers with 2 hornworms a day + about 10 to 15 gut loaded dubia or crickets. Shes chowing down the bugs but is not really interested in the greens. I did see something on here about only offering greens for a few days to get them eating them, but i didn't want to try until I knew she was doing well. Do you think it would be safe now and are there any other tips on getting her to eat her greens.

Wow, that's a big girl! My guy is a week shy of 5 months, but only 130-140g (healthy and a good eater).

Have you tried any herbs? Try some variety, anyway, until something clicks. For some reason, cilantro (coriander) got my guy eating greens. No non-leafy veggies or fruit yet, and a madman for his num-nums (dubias) and any kind of worm. If it moves, he'll scarf it down, including a few greens I tricked him into by wiggling them on a forceps, but he's wise to that one now. All I get is the "lizard eye". :lol:

Whether it's "safe" is up to you--we can't see/evaluate behavior. That said, I don't see any harm in trying. These guys are hardy; missing a meal (or 6) won't hurt, especially at her size. When she gets hungry enough, she'll eat. :wink:
