feeding beardie

is ok to just feed em the exo terra complete food, and some of the vita terra reptile small shrimp? I just got a juvenile bearded dragon from a pet store and was making sure what I am giving him is ok. I plan on using a multivitamin powder on the crickets when I give em to em, but is this style of food ok?

Beardies need and enjoy a variaty of different foods such as ; fresh veg daily, locusts, wax worms, phoenix worms.

It is important that juvvies get lots of protein and are feed 3 times a day as much as there eat in 5mins.

At that age they need calcium powder on there live food once a day 5 days a week and vitamin powder on there live food once a day 2 days a week.

You should dust the crickets, or whatever main live staple you choose to feed. There are a lot of BDs that won't eat pellets, and they should only be used occassionally, or in conjunction with live food and fresh veggies.

hey how long can you leave squash out there before you need to take it out of the tank, if he doesnt eat it?

The veggies in my cage dries up in just a couple of hours (although sometimes he likes to snack on them when they are crunchy..).
