Feeding baby dragons

I just got my baby dragons last night. I was told they are 4 weeks old. I have dubia Roaches on order and they'll be here on Tuesday. I bought some crickets until then but I think they're too big. If I went to a Petsmart or similar store would I be able to find a good protein feeder until my Roaches come?

Follow the space between the eye trick for sizing. Pet smart will probably have 1/4 Inch crickets which should work. Don't forget to dust with calcium and take out any extras as they bite sleeping dragons

Both our local pet store and Petsmart had smalls but they were as big as my little girls whole head. I did get a few smaller ones though but they seem to have no interest in eating. I'll keep offering and hopefully they'll eat soon. Hoe long before I start to worry about their lack of eating? I just got them Friday night.

Hi. They probably have relocation stress. That can last a week or 2. I'd order crickets on line because once they get use to their environment they will eat a ton. Also if they are housed together you'll want to feed them separately and probably separate them as they get older as they are territorial and do not like sharing. One will dominant the other so be watching them.

Update....they are eating better. I have 400 dubia plus 10 breeder pairs to get a colony started that will be here Tuesday so am ready for their appetites to explode!! I can order and receive dubia very quickly if I get low before my colony is established. They are going after the crickets but will only eat them in their enclosure not in the separate container. But since they are small crickets they can't escape the dish sor it's working. I will like the dubias much more though.

I'd have 25day old (10mm long) crickets (at least 300) on hand (for starters (or similar sized roaches) and be feeding these lots of quality high calcium greens , repcal adult beardie pellets (straight from the bottle) and carrot chunks (food and hydration).
I'd also try to get phoenix worms (BSL maggots) and small silkworms (about 1-1.5in long) these don't need calcium dusting to give for at least one of the three daily live insect meals.

I'd also offer grated root veg (carrot, sweet potato) and chopped greens daily from the getgo.

I suggest setting each of them up in a rearing tub (about 100 LITRES in capacity with clear see though sides and clip on lids) to get then started , I raise all my young lizards in 100L rearing tubs for their first 12 months or so , then upgrade them to full size enclosures (4ft x 2ft is recommended for a single adult central beardie).
Tubs are very easy to convert to rearing tubs, all you need is a soldering iron and a power drill and maybe some cloth tape.
