Fed my beardie heaps of carrots it's whole life

so my reptile breeder is a bit old fashioned and said that bearded dragons can only have carrots, kale, spinach, and a few other stuff. i have done some research and realised this is wrong. my beardie is 1 year old though a bit small. all his life he has been fed carrots A LOT. i have literally just stopped doing that when i found out he could get poisoned if he has too much. he isn't showing any symptoms of being sick so should he be fine? or is what i fed him in the past going to affect him?

Yes please no more carrots --- here is a website for nutrition --- I dont know what the effects would be Tracie our vet mod would need to answer that question

I do not give my dragons carrots as I feed it to the dubias I feed as a staple feeder -
this is what I got for an answer when I googled too many carrots to a bearded dragon
Too many carrots may lead to Vitamin A toxicity which can present serious health risks for your pet. You should be particularly aware of this if your bearded dragon is already taking vitamins or a Vitamin A supplement.
