Fed Jefe his first pinkie

I read mixed reviews on feeding beardies pinkies so I went to my local reptile shop where I frequent and asked. I was told that its ok to feed him a pinkie once in a while. I bought him one and put it in his cage. He immediately bit it but let it go and soon as it screamed. Now the pinkie is dead but he's not interested in eating it. Does this mean he just doesn't want it or should I try it again??

Please dont feed them pinkie mice. They wouldnt eat them in the wild. Also they will have a hard time digesting them.

I don't know about you but having undigested bones in my feces would not be the most comfortable, this is why we aren't supposed to feed pinky mice to our lovely dragons. :D

There's absolute NO reason to feed your dragon pinkies other then the fact that you as an owner want to see him kill and eat it. It does them no benefit, and can harm them as it's not completely digestible nor even close to anything they would eat in their natural diet.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
