Fecal done today.. not sure if he did it right..

Got a fecal done for my beardie today. All the vet did was put it in salty water. He said that it makes the parasite/worm eggs float to the surface and that way he can see if the animal has parasites. Is this true or did he take $70 for nothing..

Also, got her weighed in at 520 grams and about 17 inches. Is that a good weight?

Sounds like your vet has 400X magnification eye sight! That is INCREDIBLE, super human really, I would personally be nervous standing near someone who could potentially see through my clothes! JK Anyways yes he took you, if he didn't examine the fecal under a microscope of at least 400x magnification. :shock: I would tell him you want it done right and for no cost, or just never see this guy again and take it as a 70$ lesson. :?
