Winter squash like butternut squash, kobocha, and acorn squash are a good addition to the diet like many other orange color vegetable. They are high in fiber, vitamin A and carbohydrate, and many dragons love them.

gizmo is a VERY fussy eater, and will only eat one veggie regularly, the others she will taste from time to time. She love butternut squash! She has loads every day! I figure any veg is better than none, so she gets that and many more in a bowl, she only eats whats had fed, and will only accept squash! Oh well a life of slavery it is then!!

HEY BUGGSY, your dragon is HUGE, I don't think I have seen one that big!!! how old is he?

Mine seems to love his collards mostly, but if i use collards for a couple weeks then switch to say...mustard, he goes all out on those. He tends to get sick of a particular kind and likes variety. Wasnt keen on squash at all, just mostly collards, dandelions and mustards.

I've found that my guy, although typically accepting of most greens, gets bored quick and wants a change. I've taken to stocking my fridge with small amounts of multiple things to mix up day to day, and that helps. Most grocery stores that charge by the pound won't fuss if you take a small amount of a bunch instead of the whole thing. Saves money that way! Keeping collards as the baseline, I add mustards, chicory, escarole, parsley, cilantro, and dandilion greens on a rotating basis. I think he appreciates the variety the same way we do. If I got the same thing every day I'd get bored of it too! :D

I can't get mine to touch Butternut Squash. I figured the color would attract him, but no go.

He loves Dandelions and Turnip Greens though.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
