ok my guy is a little over a year old.. and seems to be a pretty shady eater (if you walk by the tank and hes about to eat he doesnt) but anyway, i have been giving him kale or collard greens, depending on whats available and he seems to like them.. he doesnt really eat all the veggies and alot goes to waste.. i've tried turnip greens, escarole, mustard greens and he doesnt touch those.. is there a veggie out there that beardies reallly really like???? and he doesnt eat fruit either, but does eat the occasional thawed out frozen carrots???

I'm pretty new to beardies myself and Fez is teaching me what he likes and what he doesn't....He LOVES cilantro, collard greens, and peas. So far I have offered him grated carrot, zuccini, squash, peeled grapes and strawberries and he hasn't even tried them...I think it's being consistent, keep trying til he finds something he wants.

Will of course all beardies are different and some might not like what others do, the way I always get my beardies to eat there salads (no matter what greens are in it) is to add some shredded apple into it. They seem to like the smell of it or something but whatever the reason is, my beardies can't resist and end up eating everything, greens+apples.

(he didnt eat the veg with the apple tonight either)... he should be eating more greens now since hes a year and 2 months old, but doesnt really, just lounges on his hammock( hes lazy).. soo not really sure what to do? maybe i'll try kale with the apples

My beardy likes Cilantro. We are in San Diego and almost everything comes with Cilantro out here. One day I gave it to him and he loved it.

gizmo is a VERY fussy eater, and will only eat one veggie regularly, the others she will taste from time to time. She love butternut squash! She has loads every day! I figure any veg is better than none, so she gets that and many more in a bowl, she only eats whats had fed, and will only accept squash! Oh well a life of slavery it is then!!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
