What's your beardie's (or beardies') favorite person-perch?
I'm wondering if Wave's is weird - she's taken to one particular spot, and it seems a strange one! When we go in for evening playtime, obviously she's pretty tired, and she doesn't run around too much anymore. I always have my hair pulled back into a ponytail (too long and annoying to wear down). She goes right to where the band is, puts her upper body and head on my hair, and lets her lower body/back legs remain on my neck/shoulder. Always on my right side. I guess she falls asleep there - it's hard to tell, because, of course, I can't easily see her! And I don't want to bother her by trying to take a picture or look in the mirror if she's comfortable and feels safe there; I usually just stay still and read my book. She certainly stays there until I force her to move. When she's bigger and less generally hyper, I wonder if that's where she'll prefer to sit for longer periods of time?
What about yours?
In regards to other pets, I used to have a rat who loved to ride inside my shirt. I've had lots of shoulder-riding rats, but this one wanted to go in, and there she would stay. I used to take her everywhere like that. One of my rat-appreciating friends took to asking me anytime he came over, "Is she in there?" Usually, she was. She was also the one who would grab a finger if you stuck it in her cage and lick it as long as you would allow her to, clutching it between her front paws. Miss you, sweet little Ginia...
