Well... I know that my Beardie does not stand on its hind legs to bask against the end of my tank. If yours basks in such an awkward position than I guess a heating pad could be dangerous to put on the end.

I have never tried it, but I hear some people use the heating pads on the end of their tanks if they need more heat, say in winter or something.

If you need more heat for whatever reason, try using a CHE (ceramic heating element - like a like bulb w/o the light). Works great at taking the chill out of a viv if you need it. I have one I use from time to time and will come the winter if it gets too cool in the room the viv is in.

Awesome job....I am currently working on my enclosure and am getting ready to make my background and fake rock structures. Do u think u could send me a list of materials used? I would greatly appreciate it. Any tips would be awesome.
