Fake rock. pics.

I figured I would share a few pics of the fake rock platform I'm building for Blaze. I can't wait to build more of these.
It's not finished yet. We still have 1/2 layer of grout left. Then paint. Should be done on Tuesday.

Wow thats nice, what supplies do you need to make one of those? Im thinking of making one but im not sure how.

Thank you. I thought it would be a lot harder. But once you shape it how you want its simple.

I kind of followed this site on what to use. But instead of using that sealant that is listed, I'm going to use Gorilla Wood Glue(watered down).

Just a quick question to whoever has made a fake rock platform, do you need to seal the grout before you put the paint on or just seal it after the paint is done? And how many layers of sealant should I do?

Just put the paint on. 1st coat.

After 3 coats.

Note:We got two different colors of the textured stone spray paint. Thats why it looks kind of gray(its really not though). Lol.

Looks good, i watched a video on youtube and they guy applied 3 coats of sealant AFTER he painted it and then sanded it down with a fine grade paper to reduce the shine.

Thank you! I actually have Gorilla Wood Glue as a sealant, apparently it works great and goes on clear so I won't have to worry about sanding it afterwards...hopefully... But thats definitely a great idea, thank you for that!

Yupp. Its made out of styrofoam. Then grouted. And painted.
