Eyes flaring up

Hello,

Lately my bearded dragons eyes have been flaring up. They only stay flared up for about 15 minutes but its been happening a lot. it looks like the eyes are about to come out of the eye socket and when looking closely there is a flem on the outside and you cannot see her eyes.

Lately I have been giving her less crickets and more vegetables but nothing has really changed. It has also been unusually hot lately. Is this normal or is this something that I should be concerned about?

They will bug out they're eyes sometimes if they are shedding around them.....

Yep, it's normal. Sometimes they'll "pop" their eyes out even if they're not shedding (I've seen my beardie do it occasionally) so it's nothing to be worried about.

Completely normal behaviour before or during shed. It's quite alarming first time you see it.

What type of UVB are you using?

Is there mucus around the eyes only when eye-bulging or is it there all the time?
