Hey I couldn't help asking this question. I just got my beardie too, about 5days ago and well he's still acclimating. After getting some advice from others, I decided to change him from a 10g tank to a 20 g.

After I did this, i started noticing his eyes closing for about 3-5 sec then opening them again. i'm not sure if he was doing this before we switched tanks. I placed the quote up there because i have two uvb bulbs, a reptiglo 2.0 and a reptiglo 10.0 in COIL. I added the 2.0 because the 10.0 one just seemed SO SMALL i thought it wouldn't give him enough uvb lighting.

Is the eye thing an irritation from the coil bulbs? or maybe relocation stress?? I have noticed a WHOLE LOT MORE STRESS MARKS!!!

You should get the reptisun 10.0 (repti glo lights esp 10.0 are bad for their eyes) and coils are horrible for bearded dragons. You can get theRepti SUN for real good price at petmountain.com. In addition to the Reptisun 10.0 yo uneed a bright white BASKING light (a regular hosuehodl bulb-not soft will do)
Make sure to take temp not with dial but a probe or temp gun. basking 95-105 cool side 75-85 during day
