Eye problem ?

do bearded dragons shed around their eyes ? my baby has been shedding on his head , & the past few days has kept one eye closed most of the time, but did open it some and it just looked like shedding pieces around it . today, i came home and he has that one eye closed and barely has the other one open (the other one was perfectly fine before this). should i be worried, or do they shed around their eyes and is this normal? i don't have a coil uvb- i know the question is going to come up. also, he does open them both all the way when i pick him up. it's just when he's sitting around he does this with his eyes.

yep, the skin around their eyes sheds too. It irritates them sometimes but will work free on it's own in most cases. You may see him bulge his eyes out too. It's scary the first time you see it but it's just their way of loosening the skin for a shed.

that's a huge relief . i feel so bad for him , is there anything i can do to like help or make him feel less irritation ?

Not really, especially around the eyes. It bugs them but it's natural for them to shed so they're pretty good at it.
