Well, thanks for everyones help with my issues...here is an update.
-The new mega ray arrived....no issues all day with eyes or color changing
-I set up a little camera near the tank a few days ago so I could watch him when I'm not around. I found something interesting that may help new owners. He seemed to do a lot of waving at the glass and acting wierd when he looks in the glass. Turns out there is a very easy to see his reflection...I think he was scareing himself
I put white paper around the walls...and no more issues.
-He ate like a champ today..about 5 crickets, and 5 small worms.
-I also mesured him today...he's now almost 5" so he's grown about 1/2" -3/4" in the almost 3 weeks that I have had him.. I would estimate his age at about 5wks maybe, since he was about 4" or so when I got him. He was very tiny when I got him from the pet store...as you can see from the first pics.
