Explain morph terms please

Okay I have been a bearded dragon slave for about 8 months now. I did TONS of research on care, set-up, etc. I'm confident I know what I'm doing as far as that goes; my 9 month old beardie, Soph, is 18 inches and 475 grams. I must be doing something right.
HOWEVER........
I would really appreciate it if someone could explain all the morph jargon to me, please. I just got my new baby girl dragon, Selena and she is a cross between a blood red and a hypo het leatherback. So I get the difference between normal, leatherback and silkback, but what does "hypo", "het" and "translucent" mean when referring to a dragon's morph????

Morning.
Lets start with your dragon.
Selena and she is a cross between a blood red and a hypo het leatherback.
The blood red part is a simple color description. Now the HYPO part means one of the parents was hypomelanistic( we will get to that in a moment)
HET Leatherback does not exist. Your dragon is leatherback or not.
Het means they have the genetics but not any visual indication they have the genetics.
For example. If you dragon has 20 clear nails she is HYPO. If she doesnt show the 20 clear nails she is het for hypo about 33% by my guess of your description.

Thank you for the wonderful information! My girl is definitely not a Het, she has dark nails and is definitely a leatherback. Thanks for clearing my confusion.

Hypo mean light nails, I think you got some terms mixed there
To shorten your girls description, you can call her a blood leatherback het hypo. You can even leave the het hypo out, its not really important unless you are breeding. Thats the same thing Jupiter is and I just call him a blood leather. Where did you get her from? I'd love to see a picture

Here are some pictures of my new baby, Selena and my big boy Sophiro. She is 6 months, 10 inches (stumpy tail), 138 grams. He is 9 months, 18 inches, 475 grams. She isn't even fired up and I love her colors.
