excited..about...worms? o.O THEY FINALLY ARRIVED!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday morning my boyfriend and I ordered some silk worms and some wax worms..from mulberryfarms.com

ive never ordered anything before except for phoenix worms that arrived dead..blahh.

so..im super excited..anyone else make their first purchase that wants to share their excitement with me? lol

not to mention little duude has never had silk worms before..and ive never seen any in person before..so im excited about that. woohooo!


you know you live with bearded dragons when...you get excited about worms being shipped to your house..haha.

LOL Aren't you glad you even have a place to share your excitement w/o anyone thinking you are WEIRD? I remember when I first ordered worms, hornworms! WOW they were cool getting in. Then the next worms I got was Silkies - while cool, they were a little weirder as I had to pick and clean out the silk those things were throwing and the poop was getting stuck in! But it was still fun. Supers - OH MY! That was an experience I'm not sure I want to go thru again w/o my daughter around! I don't know how many I ordered - obviously it was alot - but they didn't come in containers like I was expecting - I opened the box and THERE THEY WERE ....crawling out and all over things! I literally jumped back and my daughter and her friend had to take over! ROFL

So let us know how your beardie loves his/her new treats! Silkies are different - they look like (to me that is) twigs that move!

ya im happy i have a place to share my excitement lol.

I would have loved to see that..opening a box and all those worms crawling everywhere hahahahaha.
ill have to take a picture and post it up on here when they arrive i think they will be here today or tomorrow..most likely tomorrow.

One time I ordered supers, and they came in a nice canvas bag, wrapped in newspaper. the next time...all in the box. Yea...it was creepy.

hahaha...i dont know about that..i dont know if ill break down and get roaches..they creep me outt!!!!!! last year at the LA reptile super show i held a madagascar hissing roach...and it was fine till i told the guy to take him back and he grabbed him..kinda pinching the little guy on his butt and so in a natural reaction the roach ran up my arm and ya...i jumped to say the least. hahahahahahahahaha

You've gone further than I have in holding one! I won't EVEN go that far. My daughter holds them though and coos over them! :shock: Getting the roaches in wasn't so bad, actually it was easier for me to handle than it was seeing all those worms! The roachguy is great and they were packed nicely (like crix) with their own egg crate and all!

I'd LOVE to get my worms in a canvas bag vs a free for all, all loose crawling all OVER the place! YUCK!

ewwww...ya..i think i screamed lol. Im sure he is...but given the fact i still live at home..my mum wont go for it. lol.

sometime she will get roaches..but i dont know when..when i get the worms ill take multi pics and put them up hahahaha

they finally came!!! i was so excited...as soon as i saw the box when i got home i yelled...the worms i ordered are here!!!! my father was just getting home and had climbed out of his truck when i yelled that..he kinda just starred at me..then laughed hahaha.

as i said..here are some pics i took only a few minutes ago.

this is what it looked like when i found it on the porch..except the mail man left it standing up longways..even tho arrows clearly state he should leave it flat..oh well...this is it on my bed haha.

i took it into the garage to open it up all the way..this is what i first saw. a bunch of packaging peanuts!!! :shock:
