Excavator clay

So gonna make a small project with excavator clay. Since i do not have a secondary tank for Fred to hang out in while i make his cave I cut up some lexan sheets and made a small corner that i will use to get the build going. Figure the stuff will stick to the walls so gonna place plastic wrap as a barrier between the clay and the walls... which will let me pick up and drop in the cave when im done. The project is something for me and my son to do together so thats the main plus point. I'll take photos and let anyone interested know how it turns out

Sounds interesting. When you use clay do you need grout and foam?

no the clay will be stand-alone, if used as a base it would just add too much unneeded weight that can be acommplished with regular foam. The clay is basically used like playdough, just molding it to however you wish and once dry it is supposed to be nice and hard... we shall see how it holds up though.
