I live in Ireland, and i'm not sure if I've been living under a rock or something but it really seems like the live food supply in the EU is terrible.
There are two pet stores in my local town. One of them gets the same small brown crickets all the time (Which stink, die in 5 mins, and escape)
The other gets the crickets in an insanely small size or an insanely large size, they also do waxworms, which suck as a staple.
I'm really dying to get my bearded dragon some variety in his diet. I really hate the crickets they're annoying, smelly and just plain boring!
I've been browsing the web and I've found a couple sites such as rickslivefood.co.uk but I just cant bring myself to pay £6-8 and upwards for silk worms, calciworms or roaches that will most likely arrive dead due to the cold weather. Not to mention there are only about 50 in each container you buy. That would last my Bearded Dragon 2 days tops.
If any of you guys out there live in the EU and now some way to get good live food PLEASE share!
I want to be able to treat my Bearded Dragon and it seems kind of impossible here.
