My 4 yo female, Pheeny, often sits in the window to sun. I leave her in my bedroom because the cats aren't allowed in there. She has been doing it for years. Well, today I went in to check on her and found that the screen had been pushed out and she was gone. Somehow one of the little clips that keeps the screen locked in place had come loose.

I called my extended family to come help me search...and I sobbed and searched for 2.5 hours until we finally found her. I really thought she was gone for good.

So, just a warning to others like me who let their beardies bask in the window...double check that your screens are securely locked in place!

I don't know what I would do if my beardies escaped! I would be heartbroken!

I fell asleep with my boy out and I spent ages searching for him- found him asleep under the desk on a tissue, scared me!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
