Escape Artist in Training...

My boyfriend and I were about to leave the house today to run some errands, when I looked over at Gunns in his cage, he was window dancing. Jokingly, I said to my boyfriend, I think he wants to go for a car ride. So I looked at Gunns and said "Wanna go for a ride?!?!" We then left for roughly an hour, I came home eager to give him some of the greens and hornworms that I had bought for him on my outing. When much to my surprise, I looked inside his VIV and didn't see him in any of his usual spots. I looked under his hide box and nothing... suddenly, something moving caught my eye. Gunns had found a way to climb from his log to his hammock and then from his hammock to the top edge of the cage where his screen cover would normally sit/ where his lights are clipped onto. The smart son of a gun was laying on the edge of the VIV just looking at me. Surprisingly, he didn't jump. Maybe because his VIV is high up. But he sure became quite the escape artist and pulled a daring stunt. Guess we now know his is capable of getting out so his screen will have to stay on when we leave the house.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
