Hello all! I was beginning to get concerned with Rugby recently. When I got him his mouth was completely even (no under or overbites). After he shed his lips I noticed his top lip at the tip was poking out further than the bottom. Its the tip of his mouth and only one scale that seems to be a bite enlarged for some reason. He doesnt seem affected by it at all, but Im hoping it doesnt grow more.....looks like the nearby scales are getting bigger too. UGH Worried parent thinking the worst.

Any thoughts? IS this normal?

He is a beautiful dragon :love10:

Thats not normal, what kind of UVB are you using and how close can he get to it? How often are you giving calcium?

Thanks for the compliments. I hope its just a developmental thing and hopefully he will grow into that lip!

Gail- no worries here...he has everything in tip top shape with the best of the best. Care is not the issue in this case.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
