Endive?

I remember seeing endive as one of the staple greens on the Beautiful Dragons chart and I was wondering if it was referring to Belgian endive or the leafy kind. I have only seen Belgian endive around here... so I hope they're referring to that one.

Blue, it is not the Belgian endive! It is the leafy type. Good luck..

Oh my gosh.. That makes another staple veggie on the list that will be hard to find! Our grocery stores don't seem to normally carry most of the staple veggies listed on the beautiful dragons chart, except for squash and cactus pears. : ( They never really seem to have collard/mustard/turnip/dandelion greens available very often. :/

I am not sure exactly where you live but I was having a similar problem. If you have any farmers markets near you they sometimes have more "exotic" greens even if they arent locally grown. They also sell the turnips with the greens on for a cheaper price so you can eat the turnips while you feed your beardies the greens
