Here's a video of my new-ish beardie Ender nomming some crickets. I already posted it in his intro thread, but I thought I'd post it here as well, because... it's just fun to watch a beardie eat things. My next goal is to catch him eating a blueberry, because he just ATTACKS them. <3

And a photo, too, to make this thread more visually interesting...

Here are some pictures of the cage my dad made me for my birthday:

There's a little gap at the top of each door, and a little gap where the plexiglass is slightly warped in the middle, so I'll have to fix those so crickets can't get out, but otherwise I really like it and can't wait to get all sorts of climbable things in there for him. It's sitting out on the porch until I can't smell it anymore, for now.

Hmm, I'm not even sure if anyone ever peeks at this thread anymore, but here's a picture in case anyone does.

Behold... the elusive...

Haven't posted here in a while but I'll give it another shot. Ender's encosure has improved about 999999fold since I got him. when I picked him up from his previous owner he was in a huge fishtank with nothing but blue sand and a little statue thing to climb on. When I took him home, I had a 20 gallon for him, but still minimal cilmby-stuff. Now he's got a nice big wooden enclosure with tile and sand and a multi-layered platform and a UVB tube bulb and a fancy digital thermometer and surround-sound entertainment system and mini-fridge. And he's SO MUCH FATTER NOW

And no longer blue, thank goodness.

His previous owner mentioned feeding him 50 crickets "once a week or so," which I don't believe is enough for a 6 month old beardie. I've noticed young juvie beardies in petstores that look skinny, though, so maybe it's their awkward/gangly phase like a human would go through.

Ender's new homemade platform, used the tutorial at beautifuldragons.com.

Added a sandbox underneath. He digs in it SO MUCH. He is digging now. Why does he do that?

Ender likes to ride my bicycle. Wish I'd noticed the "Where's Waldo?" photo contest and submitted this :p

Thanks! It's so easy to spend money on these little guys. Thankfully I can't think of anything else I'd like to add to his enclosure right now. I'm almost finished building a second platform for the other side, and once that goes in... No more presents for Ender. He's breaking my bank :|

Hahaha, I always find myself buying stuff for my beardie, tarantulas and ball python, but I don't mind that. :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
