Enclosure trade off, need opinions?

I finally got an offer on a possible tank upgrade for Dog. Right now she's in a 36"x18"x12" tank because I got her under kind of dire circumstances and that's all I had on hand. Someone is offering me a 48"x12"x22". I definitely want to give her more height but I feel like the 12" deep is possibly too tight? Just need some quick opinions on if I should take the offer or not.

Oh also she is about 5 years old and just under 16 inches long.

The one you have now offers 6 more inches of floor space. If the UVB and heat isn't too strong at that height, I'd stay with what you've got. But.....there's nothing wrong with hoarding free tanks, either!

Unfortunately it's not free, it'll run me 60 bucks if I take it. I think I'll stick with what I've got for now. Thanks!
