enclosure stress

I have a 3 month old beardie and am keeping him in a 50 gal breeder tank. I want to build a 4x2x2 melamine enclosure so we only have to make one enclosure upgrade during his life.I know when a beardie goes from one enclosure to another, it causes stress.

What is the best way to make the transition without causing a lot of stress to the beardie?

If you have the lighting and furniture all set up and ready to go in the new enclosure it will help. An older dragon won't usually have as much issue with the change either. In my experience, they can get through an enclosure change pretty easily so I wouldn't worry about it too much. Just go for it when the new one is ready to go.
