Hi, I am building some new cages in the near future going to make them bookcase style and I built some smaller ones the same way but it seems the heat in each one fluctuates between them all and I was wondering if i put insulation sheets in between the shelves this time i could keep that form happening.. What does everyone think?

Insulation can be used to prevent heat from traveling. Do you have any pictures of what you have built, or what you are thinking of building? How are they being heated?

Here are the first ones I build I just customized a bookshelf.. And the heat underneath bothers the one above it and so on.. I have MVB's in each one and then use heat emitters at night... I am going to build bigger ones approximatley 40" Long, 17" Deep & 17" Wide in a bookcase style.. Thinking if I put insulation sheathing in between each shelf then i wouldn't have this problem again...

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
