Hi all. This may have been covered elsewhere but there is so much info out there I can't make sense of it. I have a healthy, happy Juvi. We are moving to North Carolina next month and I want to order a new enclosure prior to our arrival. I want something that is a wood/acrylic mix which has built in fixtures for UV and heat. Does anyone have suggestions for this? I want an enclosure that will be big enough for my little guy when he is full grown. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I can't give you specific suggestions for buying them in America, but but some general advice:
You want it at least 2x2x4 foot (some people use smaller ones but that's considered the minimum in Australia)
You should be able to get light fittings built in (if you're ordering one specific for reptiles). Try and get at least 1 ceramic socket, so you can put in a ceramic heat emitter if needed
I doubt you'll get one with a built in UV fixture (especially if you're using a t5 HO bulb) but that's easy enough to do yourself. Arcadia luminaires come with brackets that you screw to the top, and there's plenty of ideas on here for attaching a reptisun to the roof
Good luck finding something!

Thanks so much for the info. It's been so amazing to watch him grow (finally discovered that he IS actually a he today) and I want to give him the best habitat. Thanks again!

I would check out the enclosures at Carolina Designer Dragons in Charlotte. They might be close enough to you to do a pickup and save on expensive shipping. I would specifically request a 22'' T5 fixture next to the basking light socket to ensure proper UVB exposure.

Thank you Cooper Dragon. That might be the best overall solution. I will check them out. Thanks again.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
