Emmy's ( formally known as Yoshi's) Thread

So I finally got some decent pics of Emmy onto photobucket and wanted to share how much she has grown in the last 2 months. Will share more when I don't have a cat impeding my typing.
*edit* finally renamed Yoshi emmy. We always knew she was a girl but my husband named her and it stuck but I never liked it. So now she's emmy (named after a character not the statue :) )

right now she wakes up at 7:30am and has lights out at 8:00pm. Her favorite foods are Dubia, butternut squash and blueberries. She doesn't like anything red except butterworms and throws out any red lettuce stuff that comes in her spring mix. She is still very squirmy and does not enjoy being held or bathing but we're working on it.
Today was actually a special day for her, she has been eating her salads so she got to try green pepper (fresh from my garden), which she didn't seem to enjoy :( But at least she loves her butternut! She LOVES orange colors, so I think squash is going to be a big part of her diet. will post better pics of her enclosure and her dubia colony soon!

Figured I'd give another update on Emmy since we just found out she is a sick little beardie. She is still at 150g but has grown to 15 inches, but was diagnosed with coccidia and eimeria (which I guess is another type of coccidia?). She'll be getting meds and hopefully will be all better soon!

thanks for the well wishes! she has had a full treatment but still not getting better, do it looks like she made need some stronger antibiotics :( the good thing is it hasn't affected her appetite at all so she was able to hit her big milestone today!
She is now 16in and 220g! :blob8:
hope to post some more pics soon!

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
