I am beginning to think our weather is insane. It's so nice today have some windows open finally. Spit snow yesterday and was so cold.
My 3 Ems are great. Emmett isn't as sleepy and all over the place. Cleaned his tank, fed him and gave him a nice warm bath. He drank so much water I thought he was going to grow fins. He did not want out of the bath
Emma also has a clean tank, fed and bathed. Emma is indifferent to her baths. She can take them or leave them but does drink a lot of water while in the bath. Found a large piece of shed skin from her back in her tank so she is shedding again. I hope this is a big growth spurt for her as she still looks small to me. I'm not worried about as she is healthy. I tried her on medium white super worms, I take the heads off and she loves them. I don't give her to many. I don't want her impacted on them.
Emilio is just as ornery as ever and shedding again on his veil and face. He ate a ton of crickets today, out of his horn worms. He lets me pet him but only on the tail, strange lizard but I love him.
I have opened the curtains on the window behind Emmett/s tank and sunlight streams in through the window into his tank making his background glow . He tries to take off through the background, he is so silly.
We're having crazy weather on the East coast, too. It'd been nice one day, then gale-force winds and rain the next, then freezing temps the next. We're supposed to get snow and 60-mph winds tonight into tomorrow. Oh joy! NOT!
Glad that everyone's doing well. I thought that reptiles don't normally like their tails touched.
None of mine mind me playing with their tails. I don't know why but, they don't.
I am so excited. My daughter and grandson come in Monday night for spring break. They leave Thursday and I will hate to see them go but will make the most of it while they are here. Dang I'm excited. Taking them Tuesday up to see the Stanley Hotel where the shining was filmed and will have lunch out by the waterfall. Hubby and I will take them up through Rocky Mountain National Park so their days will be full. Did I say I am excited! I am going to take a lot of pictures of them.
Had a wonderful visit with my daughter, Connie and my grandson Michael. Michael is 9 years old and was fascinated by the 3 Em's. He had to watch them eat, play, wake up and go to sleep. He loved holding them till they started climbing up onto his shoulder and their little claws started scratching. My daughter didn't care to much for them but loved looking at Emilio and loved his colors.
All 3 are doing well. They just ate and are basking at the moment. Surprise, Emilio is shedding again. Emma is shedding a little and Emmett is not. Emmett and Emma will get baths here pretty soon so they can drink some water.
My daughter and grandson, Connie and Michael taken at the lake on the way up to the Stanley hotel.
Beautiful photo of your daughter and grandson! Glad to hear that they had a nice visit with you.
Kids are always fascinated by new things, especially boys with reptiles.
