So mom and I were chatting and the topic of pet emergency supplies came up (joking that we needed it for the dogs as they had just run out of their wet food and they were going to eat us). I mentioned the stock of bulbs I am starting to build up just in case and food measures being taken now in case of something preventing us from leaving the home such as snowstorm so my dear beardie won't notice the different. Currently we have a small stock of bulbs (heat and uv) and the beginning of a superworms farm plus canned crickets (total last resort! So much less nutrition than live I know) then we starting thinking about other situations that may happen.
Do any of you have plans for emergencies? What we are figuring out is what to do if the power is out and we can't leave. Do any of you know of warming methods that don't require regular electricity? If there some kind of battery powered heat lamp out there? We want to be prepared for his needs if anything happens. You never know when someone might dig up the power line!
For that matter any medical supplies to keep on hand are also welcome suggestions.
