So I just moved about a month ago and Elvis pooped the first week after we were settled in but has not gone since then. He isn't acting sickly (even though I know they can hide being sick easily), he seemed a little depressed after we moved because there isn't as much traffic in the room that he is in as there was at our old house. Here's the list of his housing/diet info that I know is going to be asked:

Tank: 40 gallon breeder
Lights: UVB florescent tube & I have a 100 watt basking bulb (neither are the coil or compact kind)
Temps: Hot side = 95-11 degrees, Cooler side = 80-85 degrees
Bedding: reptile grass
Diet: large superworms (15-20 per week), and mixed greens (collard, kale)
Bathing: 2-3 x per week (10-15 minutes)
Length: 18 inches
Age: 2 years old

I have tried giving him some squash baby food mixed with a little extra virgin olive oil, but he still hasn't gone. I dunno what to do and I really don't have the money to take him to the vet. The last time I took him all they did was give him fluids and then he went the next day. If anyone has any other suggestions other than massaging and bathing then I'm all ears and would really appreciate the advice.

I would keep giving baby food squash mixed with some applesauce and pedialyte and a touch of olive oil. I fed something along those lines (except I added protein) to my beardie with MBD who had been on cat litter with a previous owner. She eventually passed the cat litter and started going pretty regular.

I'm betting if you combine that food with baths and messaging you get some results. You might also consider cutting the heads off the superworms since I've heard other people do this because the heads can be really hard.

Good luck!

Thanks for responding. OMG I dunno if I can cut the heads off of the superworms, they bite and are so nasty lol. Elvis finally pooped yesterday. I gave him a bath two days in a row, and fed him some of the squash babyfood with about 1cc of olive oil for three days in a row. I also have this heart massaging thingy that you bend this piece of metal and then it gets really hard and hot, then I wrapped it up in a tshirt with Elvis once on Thursday and once on Friday. So I'm guessing all of those things combined probably made him go.

He is still pretty fat so I'm going to keep doing this and see if it makes him go again. The only problem I have with the pedialyte is that it comes in a huge container and it says you have to use it within a couple of days and there's no way I can use all of it that fast.... I'm wondering if they sell it in smaller bottles? Also, I found that he hates the flavored kind so I would have to get the kind that doesn't have a flavor.... the strawberry kind didn't go over too well with him at all lol.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
Day 3 of brumation. It's a struggle. I really miss my little guy. 😔
Mirage entered brumation yesterday, I'm gonna miss hanging out with my little guy.
