Electric cricket feeder??

Hi,
I am running into a problum where i can get anyone to feed dexter for a day or two. My dad is out of town and i go camping and everyone else i trust to come in my house is to busy and i cant take his huge tank anywhere. Does anyone know of a elctric cricket feeder that you set a time and it opens a cubby to let the crickets out or something like that so i can go away for a day or two without worrying? i live in a small town so taking him to a vet or pet store is out of the question. any ideas???

also how long can he go without food? is a day really bad? he is about 9 months old.

Going a day without food will not harm him at all... Although I can see him being a little upset with you when you return lol.

Just make sure he gets a good meal before you leave, you can also leave a bunch of crickets in a shallow dish (Just pluck off the back legs so they cannot jump out) Or you can even leave a nice big salad with some meal worms mixed in for him to nibble on if he gets hungry.

Also make sure you give him a nice long soak before you leave so he is not dehydrated while you are gone, leaving water in the enclosure while your away is not a great idea.

what if im gone for like 2 days? like i leave friday and dont come home till monday....so sat and sun he wouldnt get feed? what do i do then?
