Either Jealous Or Thinking Hes Tough??? But Somethings Up

my little Gizmo has decided that every time im paying attention to one of my 6 cats and he can see he does the ever famous galss wall running like hes trying to get out to either eat my kitties or because hes jealous of them its sooo cute. has anyeone heard of this or seen it b4??? i think its just the funniest thing ever.

Thats so cute! We don' have any other pets apart from Dennis so most of the time he has our complete, undivided attention (ok he MAY be a little spoilt ) But the minute any friends or family call to our house he starts the exact same behaviour! His viv is in the living room and the minute conversation begins (conversation thats not about him that is) he starts glassdancing, climbing his fixtures and if that doesn't work he'll butt the glass with his snout. He knows that'll always get him taken out because i'm afraid he'll hurt himself. So now he uses it as emotional blackmail :twisted: It's funny though, once he has an audience he's like "people, HEY PEOPLE!! I'm over here! Look at ME! Look what I can DO!!. Now take me out please. No? Fine, I'll do it MYSELF!" And of course it works. Everybody looks and eventually out he comes...sigh :roll:

my Venus doesnt care for nothing, she just lounges about ignoring everything but my boy, mischief, if our dog is in the room hell watch her like a hawk, his eyes will follow her everywhere in my room she goes and when i pet her and he can see he black beards and gives me the beardie death glare, LMAO, too cute!

aww well its good to kno that im not the only one with a jealous beardie hes so cute when he does it but i jus dont like having them around eachother as my cats have a very high prey drive they attack almost anything and i have 3 6 month old kittens around the house they dont understand the idea of no u cant bite that lol jus dont wanna take that chance so for now hes just gunna have to get over it! LOL

LOL - those are all funny stories.

My BD will completely stop what she's doing and give the evil eye to the cats when they come into her room. She just loves to watch me kick them out and shut the door hahaha! She's all about status.

My tegu, on the other hand, is Mr. Jealous. If he sees me with ANY other animal he tries to make flying leaps into the glass and runs around like a madman!

now that i just got two baby lovebirds their cage was in front of his for the first two days and he would go to the edge of his tank and eye at them like im gunna eat you hahaha it was so0o0o hilarious everyone here was laughing but now ive moved the cage and he cant see them unless im holding them but if i bring one hear his cage Oh boy does he ever glass dance

I have 2 old minpins (8 &9 yrs) and they get very jealous when I am holding scorch because they want to be on mom's lap. They have figured out though if they sit facing away from him I will let them stay. Scorch doesn't seem to mind them, as he has already jumped on Minie's back. She just sat there. 8) I guess they have accepted that he is the new baby in the house. They never bothered the guinea pigs who lived in a play pool either. I guess they just accept anything we bring home as part of the pack.

haha - my little girl, Olive, does that too. She'll settle right down as soon as I take her out, and doesn't really seem to mind the other animals, unless they get too close. Then she chases them off. lol. A tiny dragon chasing off cats and dogs... She just thinks she's the ruler of the house now! Little spoiled angel.
