Okay so we put Daisy and Maalik together and they did the deed...then exactly 2 weeks later Daisy lays 18 fertile eggs! Is it possible for these to be Maalik's babies?? Daisy was with our other male, Yogi, early last year, and laid 2 clutches. Do you think it's more likely that Daisy has retained sperm from Yogi and these eggs are Yogi's or could they be Maalik's?

Those would be Maalik's. Two weeks is plenty of time as eggs are developing. Aren't beardies a marvel ?

I thought 2 weeks seemed way too early as well, but maybe not!

Thanks for the response AHBD, so you've had eggs after only 2 weeks? That is crazy! Beardies are definitely a marvel! At first we thought they might even be infertile as we couldn't see a pink spot in the eggs or any veins, but we put them in the incubator and then about a weeks or so later I candled them and sure enough the eggs were filled with veins. Strange...I guess we'll find out in about 1 month! If they're normal (het hypo) then I'll know they're Yogi's, but if they're hypo (and het trans) then I'll know they're Maalik's - which I hope they are!!

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
