i have read something about this a while ago and if i rember right it said after the egg has deflated and hasnt came out for 24 hours u could just make a little nip (cut) in the egg and nothing else but make sure not to go to deep i hope everything works out for ur you and ur baby

it can take as long as 5 days for a baby to come out after making its initial slit (reason for deflation/dimpling)
Do not help the baby out. If it doesnt make it out of the egg than it wasnt meant to live. That is the way it works. You do not want to "help" it out of the egg cause if it isnt strong enough to make it out of the egg on its own than it wont be strong enough to have a long healthy life.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
