Eco Carpet

Eco carpet is a great substrate but I clean it every Saturday and it takes so long to dry! I hang it up outside for about 10 minutes then I put it back in her tank. But I can't put her back because the humidity is too high. I think putting it in the dryer would dry it easier. Will it ruin or shrink my carpet?

I think it would be best to get at least 2. One to use and one to wash. That works great for us.

But my beardie doesn't poop in her viv. If she did, I would probably rather go with tile or shelf liner. Easy to clean and some of that shelf liner looks awesome.

Hi,
I actually have reptile carpet and a combo of tile, it works wonders. The type of terrarium i have is not exact measurement so what i did was cut some tile pieces. Mostly my beardie substrate is tile and then rest is carpet trimming so it looks like a border going around. Lay the eco carpet down first and then lay the tile on top of it. He doesn't seem to mind and makes cricket catching a lot easier than getting stuck in the tiny crevices

Oooooh. Yeah I had a bunch of eco carpet in her terrarium and it was folded up so all of the crickets got under there. Thank you!!
