Eats a few then loses interest....

So my issue is that my 2 month old is not eating a lot. I dont put crickets in his terrarium because he can never find them and I dont want to spend 30 minutes trying to fish the extras out.

So i feed him in a smaller terrarium, as to not scare him. He goes nuts and eats 5 crickets right away then loses interest and just climbs the walls trying to escape with no interest in eating. I do not think 5 crickets a day will do it for him. Any suggestions to feed him?

I was thinking being stubborn and he will eventually get use to the feeding terrarium? Or is there a trick to feed him inside his terrarium?

Our girl does the same thing. Just try multiple feedings per day and maybe try hand feeding the rest of the crickets. If they aren't super hungry, there's nothing you can do, but try to help feed them. If that still doesn't work, wait awhile and try again. They'll come around eventually. At least ours did. Did you just recently get them, too? Because it could just be stress.

Hey, glad to hear its not just me. I just dont want him to get into a hand feeding routine. I did just get him a few days ago, so he is probably stressed and getting use to things. Once he settles down I imagine he will come around and eat more. He does eat a few so I know he isnt going to die. But like to see him eat a healthy amount. I will keep it up and start several times a day and I think overtime he will get use to it and realizes thats where his food is.
