So I have been reading some posts about ways to help beardies poop, and there is a lot of talk about giving a bit of olive oil. My question is this...is it regular olive oil, or is extra virgin olive oil good too?
My beardie "Arach", has not pooped in 5 days and I have tried the warn baths and the varieties of food suggested to no avail. His light is a power sun 150 uvb/heat and his basking spot is about 107. He is drinking great and eats well most days, but I have started giving him considerably less food for now, just in case.
Thanks,
Robert

Yes, olive oil or veg. oil. But a few other things to try are unsweetened applesauce, baby food squash or prunes, canned pumkin [ no spices ] and even a bit of iceberg lettuce. It's good that Arach is well hydrated, too. Keep in mind that for an adult, 5 days is not long at all to go between poos. Some don't go for 2 weeks at times, even a bit longer.

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
is tape safe for fixing something in my leopard geckos hide?
