My question is how much should i dust, how frequently, and which type? I have a 5 year old beardie but I adopted him about 6 months ago. I've been doing the same schedule as his old owners but i feel like its wrong. He has also just started his first shed with me, so do i have to give him extra calcium or just more baths? Any help would be appreciated thx.

What is your current schedule?

Even for an adult, gently dusting for each insect feeding is fine, they should be eating less bugs (every other day, or a few each day) and more greens at that age. Multi vitamins should be dusted 1-2x per week.

As he sheds just give him his baths as usual. You can do more if you want or he is having a hard time but if he is hydrated and healthy he should shed fine.

Ok thanks and my current schedule is crickets 2 times a week and dust them with D3 both times. He gets veges everyday but i dont dust them because he wont eat them then. Then he gets 1-4 super worms almost everyday but I dust them with calcium supplement with out D3 every 3 feedings. I know it sounds like a weird schedule but i think its working. And thx for the shedding tips.

The important part is that they get dusted, I would dust the supers as well. Whatever schedule works for you both is what works :)
Don't worry about dusting the veggies, they should be high in calcium. To bad he doesn't like them. ( or is that just if they have been dusted?) What are you offering or have tried?

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
