i went to my local pet store and the guy there recommend Flukers Reptile Vitamin powder and the directions for use says " place enough powder is plastic bag with reptile food and shank gently until all food is lightly covered. feed immediately". he said to get this one and not the calcium one because they will get calcium from they fresh greens and vegies you feed him daily but every where else that i read says to dust 5 days a week.. im so confused and dont know what powder to use for my dragon can someone please help me?

How old is your dragon?
It's unlikely they will get enough calcium from fresh veggies unless he is an adult it is his primary food source. Even then it's advised to dust the insects 2-3 times a week.

Vitamin powder should be used 2x a week and calcium 5x for a baby.

I think the flukers stuff is ok, I've never used it though. I (and many folks here) use rep-cal ultra fine calcium powder with d3 and herptivite.

The same brand/type will be fine all his life, but keep an eye on the expiration dates, vitamins in particular do expire.

What type of UVB light do you plan to use?

To share a picture you need a link from a hosting site like photobucket. Then put the link in your post and use the button above the text field.

You will want to use a bright white light for daytime heat. The CHE is great for night heat, but the bright light encourages basking. A regular household incandescent works, or a special "reptile basking bulb"

Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
