Dundee has come a long way. He is looking great! How long was he locked in the building before he was rescued? At least he has you now.

Sorry I missed this post earlier. As far as I know, he was in the abandoned store for about a week. When the folks in the store next to it found him, he was in a filthy 20g tank. They picked up a 90g tank and set him up with a MVB. They had him for about a year after that and really saved his life. I'm grateful to them for saving him and giving me the opportunity to help nurse him back to health when he got sick.

I hope I can get him to eat on his own soon. I want to spoil him with lots of yummy treats! Hopefully once his fungal infection is fixed his appetite will come back. He has been holding steady at around 430g or so for the past week. I'd like to see him up around 500-550g eventually.

His Voriconazole arrived today. Hopefully that helps clear up his fungal infection and allows him to heal completely. He gets a dose every day for a month.

He is about the same. His weight is still hovering between 425-430 grams or so. Still coughing and not eating on his own yet. Slowly but surely I suppose.

Hopefully his Voriconazole will kick in and start helping! Kudos to you for hanging in there. It can't be easy doing all that!

Dundee got to go to a wedding in northern MN this weekend. The extended change of scenery seemed to have stressed him out a bit, but he was OK in general. Handled the 9hr drives with no problem. Got his baths in a cabin sink and got to run around in the woods a bit. He and Cooper were models for the chocolate cake toppers my sister made.

Yes it was for a dragon owner. He is still coughing. Hasn't really shown any improvement recently but hasn't shown a decline either other than increased moodiness. His weight is steady around 430g (which is still about 100g lower than I'd like).

The fact that he hasn't shown improvement bothers me. :( But I'm glad he's holding steady and hasn't gotten worse. Why do you think he's become more moody?

I'm not really sure. It could be the new medication. My best guess is that he finally has enough energy to be ornery. For now, I'll take ornery over lethargic/listless. He was doing his threaten to bite routine last night so I grabbed a superworm and shoved it in his mouth. He took a couple of chews and swallowed it pretty much whole but wasn't amused at all. Certainly didn't go seeking out more. It's the first solid food he's had in months though =).

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
