So sorry Rachella....don't be angry at yourself....no one knows for sure what he had going on. Our hearts get broken when we are pet owners. All sympathy to you and your fiance. Take good care of your other ones and keep on top of things.

It sounds likr that could be a Respiratory Infection if he's gaping and has saliva...Don't give up just yet, keep him warm and comfortable. Can you call the vet and explain that he's on his death bed, see if they will work with you. I got the antiobiotic for my beardie's R.I for $12.00...please call the vet and at least try. Also, how far is the Megaray away from him and how old is it?

It is with the highest amount of regret that I must post the unfortunate passing of my beloved Dude. He didn't live much longer after my last post, and it's taken me this long to summon the effort to update. He will be.. ..greatly missed. Rest in peace, big guy. Love you, and miss you already..

I'm sorry. I know just how you hurt. Unfortunately it's sometimes hard to tell if they are really sick until it's too late. I lost a wonderful beardie (one of the first two best friends we had) just because I didn't know enough to realize we should get her to a vet.
