Dubias the right size?

Hey all! Pushkin is about 15.5 inches long, and I ordered 7/8 inch dubias for him - they are pretty big though. He still eats a lot of them - he can chow down on 20-30 at once, easily.
Just not sure if I should order smaller next time for digestion?

Here's a pic with him and his meal! (He's in shed, so he's pretty gray.) Oh, and he's in his feeder tank, not his home.

It doesn't look any bigger than the space between his eyes - I wouldn't think he needs them any smaller. Does he chew them well?

He's such a handsome fellow!

Some of them are good bit bigger than the space between his eyes while others seem okay… some are maybe maybe 1 1/3 or 1.5 the length. He chews them well, but I did notice some body parts in his poop!
