Recently I have been seeing more and more baby dubias, almost just born, out and crawling around my bathroom. I checked the rubbermaid bin, and I havent seen anything that they could get out on. And soon, i might need to ship some off, their population has been exploding.

You're seeing more and more of them? How close is the bin to the bathroom? Maybe they haven't escaped the bin. Maybe their parents did. Wherever they are coming from, it sounds like they are searching for water. You can set up a trap by putting out a jar of water or water crystals that they can climb into (you can glue some mesh to the outside) but can't climb out.

Well, I looked around the bathroom, in the drawers and stuff and didnt find anything. The bin is in the closet in my room, so about 15 or so feet. I'm tempted to put some roach traps to get the ones that escape. I would hate too, but its starting to get warmer in SC, and i dont want a million running around my house.

Tbh i think these bugs are like super smart, i feed mine crickets, and constanly i will find them around the house,
although there is no way for them to get out( checked like a thousand times!)
but i did try someones plan, i used syrup and placed it in water, caught like 10 of them.

Well, the roaches are climbing or getting out somewhere. With how small the babies are you may be dropping one or 2 now and again and not know it. Some of the grocery and home improvement stores carry peanut butter scented live catch non toxic mouse traps... the roaches will find them easily. Also if you do end up with a lot of them loose (like when a box of 1K spills :banghead: ) then you can use a mixture of boric acid( a common pest roach control sold at grocery and home improvement stores ) and powdered sugar....the roaches will be attracted to and eat the mixture and die in about 24hrs.

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
