Dubia heating questions

I am putting the roach bin into a polystyrene box for insulation, where exactly does the heat mat go?

Will it melt either the box or the polystyrene if I put it in between the 2 of them?

Any ideas on the heating situation would be great.

put the heatmat underneath, if it is a human non shut off you will be good, I keep mine on med and put down a piece of tile under the heating pad so it's not touching the wood floor.

I have had a seedling heat mat melt thru eps before. It wouldnt hurt to put a thin piece of plywood or carboard under the heat mat.
