I was adding some food to a newly acquired colony and as I was doing this, a female jumped onto a carrot and dropped into her back and started doing this...

Did she just drop her sack? If you watch the first few seconds of the video, she obviously dropped her sack, but what is we doing afterwards? Is this the process they go through to drop a sack? You can see in the pic, the sack is to her right (your left), I'm afraid she may not take it back in. :/ This is my first colony so I've got no clue what she's doing...
Temps and humidity is correct, which brings me to another question... Is a 5-6 roach die-off common in a small mixed colony of 130ish...? I got them last night and since then I've found about 5 dead ones. Would love to know if I'm doing something wrong. I'm keeping them in a white sterilite drawer/tub and it's open about an inch for ventilation. I have a UTH on the back wall (would under be better?) and feed an old ground cricket feed I used with my cricket colonies consisting of dog food, cat food, wheat bran and bran cereal, whole cat food and water cubes. Also whatever veggies you see in the pic... I've got crickets in my bigger bin and once those are fed off the dubias will go in that bigger bin but for now I thought this would be ok... Here's a pic of what's protruding from her behind...
