Sorry if I have asked this a few times but I haven't gotten an answer quite yet :(. How many dubia roaches and phoenix worms should be fed to an adult dragon? I don't want to feed him too much or too little. I haven't found an answer yet online. I have seen the rule to feed them whatever they can eat in 10-15 minutes but I don't think that will work for Kenny. He is a piggy and eats super fast! He would eat WAY too much.

Any help would be awesome. Thank you! :)

The "as much as they want" rule applies to babies only as far as I know. I would imagine it depends on the weight of your adult and size of the food. I'd guess for dubias, prolly 6-10 medium to large nymphs a day. 3-5 for breakfast and same for dinner. Phoenix worms are tiny so for an adult, prolly be a ton. This is just a guess since I only got a baby/juvi but from what I've read, it should be around 80% veggies and 20% insects for an adult.

Thank you for the help Sauzo. I didn't have Kenny as a baby or juvi so I do not know what his appetite was back then. Maybe he had always been a huge eater? He is a rescue dragon from a pet adoption agency. I know when dragons get older they could have problems with obesity and I don't want that to happen to my boy. He does not look underweight by any means but had put on some weight since I got him. He has been eating like a king haha :)

Anyone with an adult dragon, how many do you feed yours and how often of the dubia and phoenix worms?

You should be feeding him greens in morning and dubia roaches for dinner. It is really important that your adult dragon is eating at least 80% of greens each day. Sometimes skip a day of dubia and just feed him greens for dinner. This is good to keep a healthy dragon. I would feed him around 10 large nymphs for dinner. He will appreciate that! Also you can use silkworms as treats throughout the day. I like to reward my dragon when she gets a bath or rides in the car or just for the heck of it because she is so cute! Lol. Makes them feel appreciated and special :D

I just set Swordtail's timer for his bath and paused it so I could actually fill his soaking bowl up and he crawled over my phone and canceled the timer 🤣
Mirage came out of brumation on April 26. He was doing great. On May 2 he started acting funny. We just redid his tank, and he keeps going into one of his hides. He just lays there. He shows no intrest in food. HELP!
